Will Trump resign or be removed ?

At this point I'm actually leaning toward resignation. The unredacted Mueller report is sure to blow up all Senate Republicans defenses and public perception should dramatically shift toward removal.

But, who knows in this crazy season we're living through.

Donnie won in 2016 because a lot of us were too complacent and because a lot of his supporters were willing to buy a pig in a poke. I am willing to believe that a lot of voters on our side are still angry, and a lot of Donnie’s 2016 fans have been wised up or will be by next fall. We won’t win Donnie’s core supporters, but we can win if we peel away the outer layers. A lot of BS we’ve been fed has a limited shelf-life and is growing aromatic enough so that even some self-staled conservatives can smell the reek. That ought to be enough.

I REFUSE to give into to pessimism so fashionable among certain elements of the Left.

The downside, of course, is that he will no longer be able to use the U.S. Treasury to finance his ego trips, but I'm sure he can figure out another grift to deal with that.

But the scary reality is, all he needs to win are electoral votes, not human votes.

Complacency is disaster.

As a start, I hope we see a lot more signs at the 2020 Democratic convention FOR our candidate instead of AGAINST Trump. That alone told me that he was probably going to win.

Yes, our candidate will have to address Trump. But they need to spend 90%+ of their time focused on why they are better, what positive changes they will implement. They cannot win a gutter fight, as he is the most guttural President ever.

Resignation is a fantasy many have been living in for four years and it is even less likely now than it was then.

Removal requires Republicans go go against him. They had several chances before he was elected, if they didn't do it then they won't do it now.

2020 is the best chance but it is far from certain. I fear we have learned very little from 2016.

If the Ukraine scandal had not come up, Pelosi had no intention of impeaching him. Don't misunderstand, I wanted Pelosi to remain where she is, and I think she is doing a good job. But, I think that she is relying on the 2020 election to get rid of him. There are just too many ways that he and the Repubs can cheat. And, if he doesn't win, he can and probably will declare the election as fraudulent, and refuse to leave.

The best way to get rid of him is to pay him to resign. And take Pence with him. We can vote the rest of the rats out of office. Why doesn't the press start asking him what his price is?

He will make an official visit to some country and flee. Unsure what country he will flee to. I think the original plan was to flee to Ukraine, but then a 'reformer' got elected. Ukraine would have been perfect under the last administration. Not Russia, in fact at war w/Russia, but still doing their bidding.

Erdogan in Turkey is likely a Putin plant to remove NATO alliance. A poor option for a country to flee to.

No idea what will happen, but if he, Ivanka and Jerod all take off together somewhere and Dumb and Dumber are out of the country I would be deeply suspicious - I assume many in high places are already suspicious of such things.

I am sure that his minions have been making trades based on the crazy trade statements he makes that cause very predictable swings in the markets. That $$$ is stashed in one or more of the MANY 'offshore' criminal banking countries.

He is not intelligent in a way a normal person would recognize, but he is VERY intelligent when it comes to criminality. He is a TRUE con man.

All roads lead to Putin. I am SURE they still have a 'backchannel'. The details of the flight are planned. tRump can claim that the 'deep state' has tried to assasinate him, therefore he needed to flee. His rabid FAUX followers will believe that - many at first, fewer as time goes by.

I think Putin want the USA to be humiliated - his WH butt boy has done a great job so far, but he is looking for a fatal wound that creates true chaos - at which point he can do whatever has been swirling around in his highly intelligent and deeply twisted mind.

I hope I am wrong.

points short of his vote share in 2016, and it is all about turnout and suppressing the Democratic vote. We let him get away with his lies. We are unable to persuade his base of the person hew is and the damage he is doing, This is an information war, and his false narrative will win again unless we take a gun to a fist fight. Because they thought he could deliver on his BS. A portion of the latter has since been wised up. Laid-off factory workers, farmers facing foreclosure, and a lot of the voters who FINALLY wised up to what Donnie wants to do to the affordable care act are less likely to give him the benefit of the doubt. Whack them with a stick and they will take notice.

Plus parts of the corporate lame-stream news media who did so much PR work for him in 2016 have seen the novelty and ratings fall off.

Crazy Uncle 45 can only keep the rubes’ interest so long.
