I worry we may be doing just that by voting Thursday. I have seen it argued both ways. I'm not sure this issue won't eventually end up at Supreme Court, where I don't like our chances.

Gaetz, Meadows, Scalese, McCarthy and their putrid, traitorous ilk have only one goal. They're hope is to never even mention Donald Trump, nor quid pro quo, nor phone calls of favors to Volodymyr Zelensky.

They will gnash their teeth, pull their hair, and rent their (in Gym Jordans case his jacket-less) clothes, to make this impeachment about: 'Biden corrution'; that Ukraine was working with 'the Democrat' party led Hillary Clinton herself; that Brarack Obama (who spied on Trump!!11) Ukraine & Hillary and the 'Democrats', not Russia hacked the 2016 election.

Now that Impeachment trial will now be mostly televised live, the WingNuts will want to say 'Deep State' 20 times an hour during their questioning, & 'Fake News' 25 times an hour. They will want to talk about how the FBI, and the CIA, as well as the Department of Justice, are corrupt and out to get Donald Trump

Republicans want to hear these things. REPUBLICANS BELIEVE THESE THINGS. Republicans are sure all these things will be 'proved' during Donald Trump's Impeachment trial. Republicans are telling each other that this Impeachment trial will lead to them winning 'at least 45 states' next November.

I am certain that that's exactly what the Attorney General of the United States of America William Barr is working on right this minute. These things, and our very Republic, are at stake in the next 12 months. This Impeachment, I fear, is that important.

As for the Impeachment-So far so good. The strategy in the House has been impeccible. Shiff and Pelosi haven't put a foot wrong. All the WingNuts have are lies and character assassinations. Shiff and Pelosi have limited these both so far. However, I don't know what becomes of this nation if we fail here. In some ways I fear it's our last, best shot. Some days I'm sure America pulls itself back from the brink of Fascism, but other days I'm just as sure we're doomed.

The mext 12 months will tell tha tale. And right now it could go either way.
