RE the Statement from the WH Press Secretary ...

... allow me to respond:

“The President has done nothing wrong, and the Democrats know it. Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats’ unhinged obsession with this illegitimate impeachment proceeding does not hurt President Trump; it hurts the American people.”

The “pResident” is a traitor, and the Republicans know it. In view of the “pResident’s” behaviour, statements, and actions over the past two-plus years, using the term ‘unhinged’ in respect of Nancy Pelosi – or anyone else – is nothing less than laughable.

As for ‘hurting the American people’, that certainly has not been a concern on the part of Republicans thus far, while our citizens lose their livelihoods due to tariffs, as middle-class workers struggle to make ends meet, and as laws that protect our environment and natural resources are overturned.

“Instead of focusing on pressing issues that impact real families, like reducing gun violence, passing the USMCA, improving healthcare, lowering prescription drug costs, securing our southern border, and modernizing our aging infrastructure, the Democrats are choosing every day to waste time on a sham impeachment—a blatantly partisan attempt to destroy the President.”

Perhaps you’ve failed to notice that Mitch McConnell (R) has refused to bring a single House bill to the floor of the Senate. Apparently, terms like ‘irony’ and ‘hypocrisy’ are totally lost on you. In addition, this impeachment process is real, it is legitimate, and it should be a bipartisan effort – but the Republicans are too busy kissing Trump’s ass to uphold the Constitution, honour their oath of office, and remove a traitor from the White House.

“With today’s vote, Speaker Pelosi and the Democrats have done nothing more than enshrine unacceptable violations of due process into House rules. Speaker Pelosi, Chairman Schiff, and the Democrats conducted secret, behind-closed-door meetings, blocked the Administration from participating, and have now voted to authorize a second round of hearings that still fails to provide any due process whatsoever to the Administration.”

Do you really want to go there? Do you really want to talk about ‘secret behind-closed-doors meetings’ when your “pResident” has met with Putin while refusing to allow anyone else to be present, and when transcripts/audiotapes of your “pResident’s” conversations with world leaders have been hidden on a secret server?

“The Democrats want to render a verdict without giving the Administration a chance to mount a defense. That is unfair, unconstitutional, and fundamentally un-American.”

Seriously, Ms. Press Secretary, are you THAT stupid? Your “pResident” has no more right to participating in investigative hearings than a murderer has to participating in the police gathering evidence with respect to his crimes.

With respect to ‘the democrats wanting to render a verdict without giving the administration a chance to mount a defence’, might I remind you that it’s the Republicans who have announced that they will NOT vote to convict Trump, despite not having heard the evidence?

Besides that, your “pResident” and your party members have been on every TV news outlet of late – and not one of them has offered any defence of his actions. They spew bullshit about ’the process’, and attack the credibility and patriotism of witnesses who have come forward. In other words, they have NOTHING – and that much is obvious to everyone.

As for being ‘unAmerican’, let me remind you exactly what IS un-American: distancing us from our allies, referring to immigrants as drug-dealing rapists, labelling nations with black/brown citizens as ‘shithole countries’, caging toddlers in concentration camps, jailing immigrants under inhumane conditions, putting inept cronies in positions of power, praising white supremacists and Nazis, ballooning our debt in order to give tax breaks to billionaires, abandoning our Kurdish allies and leaving them to be slaughtered, and standing on the world’s stage and declaring that Putin’s ‘word for it’ outweighs the overwhelming evidence of his guilt in attacking our elections, as confirmed by our own intelligence agencies.

Your “pResident” has admitted his crime – and has done so in his own words, from his own mouth. Perhaps the best defence you can run with now is the fact that your ‘stable genius’ is neither stable, nor a genius. He’s just what he’s always been: a self-serving idiot who has neither the intelligence nor the common sense to STFU when it’s in his own best interest to do so.

While the Democrats have embarked on a serious and deliberative approach to this most serious matter, the Republicans have busied themselves protesting not being allowed to attend hearings they are already attending, and ordering pizza.

We have now learned that your “pRresident” is throwing money at those willing to defend him. So the question now is how much money he’s thrown at you, Ms. White House secretary, to prompt you to defend the indefensible.

As history has proven time and again, the truth always outs. And as the truth about your “pResident” is inevitably exposed, you might want to reconsider your own contribution to the bullshit that’s being spewed.

Grisham was charged with driving under the influence, speeding, and driving with an invalid license in 2013.[23] The charges were plea bargained and reduced to reckless driving.[23] In December 2015, Grisham was again charged with driving under the influence, and pleaded guilty to that offense.[23]

The New York Times reported in August 2019 that Grisham had lost a job at AAA Arizona after being accused of cheating on expense reports, and another job at ad agency Mindspace over plagiarism charges.[24] Her two arrests for driving under the influence included one while working on Trump’s campaign.[24]

Her curriculum vitae sounds perfect for the job. Where the hell do Republicans/Trump find these people???????
I suppose anyone mediocre or better would turn down any job the Republicans/Trump would offer.........

Short on actual facts, big on hot air.

Just another pro Trump propaganda puppet. Ignore the bleating of the deranged.

Got to ask though: Why have so many supposedly intelligent people tied their rowboats to a sinking ship?

Why do republican politicians refuse to see the TRUTH? Defending a substandard fool in the WH. Why do taxpayers pay this "press secretary" who does not make any appearances at all? Too hung over? tRump represents the republican party, and their standard of conduct for a president. Shameful. Not a single patriot among them.
