I don't get it, if impeachment is soooo horrible according to Republicans...

Then why have it?

I mean if it’s...

Reminiscent of the Soviet Union.
Undemocratic.
A coup.
Something that could cause a “civil war”.

All things they say about it, it sounds awful, right?

They say don’t impeach, the way to remove a President is through an election... then it must be antiquidated, right?

So if Republicans don’t want a civil war and since impeachment must be a relict from an earlier age, then clearly, they would support removing impeachment from the Constitution now and forever.

If Donald Trump has done nothing wrong, (as they insist), why don't they welcome hearings and investigations so that they can set the record straight? Instead of obstructing, delaying, ignoring, and bellyaching about it?

And they have William Barr flying around the world (on the taxpayer's dime) trying to sew a fantastical conspiracy theory that completely absolves Russia/Trump and lays the blame for everything on Obama/Clinton

Wait until impeachment goes to the Senate. The Republicans would change the rules into an absolute travesty if they could.
Projection is second nature to today’s GOP. They have learned from Putin, the projection czar

They may not like it now but they liked it well enough to use it against Clinton in 1998. They are pissed off that it is now against one of their own.

Let's carry this to a logical end. The Clintons need an apology as well as the rest of the country. We must heal from that awful experience so that we can move on.

All they have to do is stand hand-in-hand and say, "Mr. trump has violated his oath to office and compromised the national security of this country. While we applaud his choice of judges and his tax policies, this can't be allowed. Mr. Trump will be removed as President and we will move forward and further his policies with Mr. Pence as President until the next election".

And they are out. Done. Never have to mention his name again. The 15% will stamp their feet for a few months and then go to the polls next November and pull the lever for whatever candidate has a (R) next to his/her name.

Its bizarro world.

to computer sign up delays. They thought this action was outrageous, a power grab by the executive branch.

I believe the other instance where impeachment was mentioned was the defection by Bergdahl...I don't remember their rationale for this. Other Obama scandals included a small flag pin, a tan suit, relaxing in the WH with feet on the table, a terrorist fist jab with his wife, an apology tour, and breathing.

So much hypocrisy...not on both sides to same degree, but dems and journalists never seem to make an effective, lasting case.

Bc they have them solidly rigged. And it's a way for them to absolutely do things counter to the will of the People, while having some plausible cover for same. The post election lectures after 2000 have been insufferable.
Take our country back. If it's war they want, we can do that. (Groan.)
Not preferred, but, I'm so utterly, utterly, finished w these GD turncoats, I'd look like the Tasmanian Devil. Trust and believe.
