Reflecting on the 2012 RNC, I added new words to the Eagles' classic:

The Middle Class will find out all too early
That they’ll need to open cans of cheap cat food
But a rich young man like me won't have to worry

A glass of wine that costs a princely price

That help them when their living standard’s down
But now they know I haven’t been so truthful
One look in my eyes and they know I’m a lying clown
