The Student Government Association at the University of Alabama is warning groups that protesting President Trump during the Alabama Crimson Tides Saturday game vs. Louisiania State Univ could result in loss of reserved seating for the remainder of the season.
A letter from Jason Rothfarb, vice president of Student Affairs, said additional security will be in Bryant Dennys student section during the Saturday afternoon football game. President Trump is expected to be in the audience.
"Any organizations that engage in disruptive behavior during the game will be removed from block seating instantly for the remainder of the season, wrote Alabama SGA president Jason Rothfarb. 60 university clubs, most of which are Greek organizations, could lose their seating because of this mandate.

(9,897 posts)I dislike Alabama football to begin with, but to trample free speech in an authoritarian ultimatum like that is beyond the pale.
May they suffer grievous losses on the field and in the press for this stunt.

(118,298 posts)... I would hate to imagine that students might engage in disruptive behavior at an SEC football game .. beyond the normal drunken brawling and .. sexual assault that characterizes life in the student section during the typical big matchup in the land of cotton ... http://www.lawyersgunsmoneyblog.com/2019/11/speaking-of-campus-pc
