Democrats Are Expected to Resign at the Least Hint of a Sexual Wrongdoing

And they do, most often. Al Franken. Katie Hill. Even if there's really no reason for them to resign and no investigation.

Republicans, however, stand together with their cohorts, and defend them. "No, don't resign," they say. "Everyone does it."

That's the difference between honor and dishonor, really. Jim Jordan had knowledge of sexual misconduct when he was an Assistant Coach, and did nothing about it. He's still doing nothing about it. And now, he'll be on a committee investigating the Rapist-in-Chief. That's the Republican way, see...

Please, everyone, do work on GOTV in 2020. We really, really need to rid ourselves of these slimes.

accused of after that was putting his arm on a waist in front of hundreds to take a photo.

He is completely innocent and one of the BEST people to EVER be in our body politic while rump or kavanaugh or mcconell are the lowest slime on earth but still in power.

I dont know how my brain doesnt literally explode DAILY.

Notice all the women who have alleged affairs with Franken? All the women who have alleged he actually did something to them other than arms on waists? NONE

preserve our record of honor. I agree with you that he should not have resigned. I think Katie Hill should not have resigned, either. She was a victim.

Not an exaggeration, in fact an argument can be made that "By definition" if one is a con, they have done something wrong and will continue to.

We have to wake up as to playing nice, Putin wants to destroy us and he is going to shut down our power grid or internet or both on election day or something like that or part of it.

He will hack into voting systems and change votes, I am convinced he did it last time in those 4 states.

Rump knows prison awaits, so he is NOT leaving the WH if putin and rumper base idiots will back him. He probably knows he cant simply refuse to leave so putin will shut down systems so a count cant be done AT ALL or will take months to clean up whatever he did.

REMEMBER rump and mcconell and many in our govt are HELPING THE KGB DESTROY our election system..and no, i refuse to use the new acronym putin wants me to use for his murderous secret service. Not that you would insist, you wouldn't but some here do.

Report: Paterno knew years earlier about Sandusky

Joe Paterno had received a warning about potential abuse by former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky years before his arrest, according to CNN.

CNN obtained a Pennsylvania state police report that described the account of whistleblower Mike McQueary, who went to Paterno to tell the coach he had witnessed an incident between Sandusky and a young boy in a locker room.

According to CNN, citing the police report, Paterno allegedly told McQueary in 2001 that the claim against Sandusky "was the second complaint of this nature he had received,"

McQueary's claim of abuse and other allegations led to Sandusky's conviction in 2012 for sexually abusing 10 boys over 15 years, including three victims after the 2001 locker room incident. He is serving a sentence of at least 30 years in prison. An appeal is pending.

The report casts further doubt on claims made by Paterno and Paterno's family and supporters that the late Penn State coach knew nothing of the incidents before the 2001 incident.

Joe Paterno statue taken down

The Joe Paterno statue was removed Sunday morning from its pedestal outside Beaver Stadium, and it will be stored in an unnamed "secure location," Penn State president Rodney Erickson announced. Erickson also said the Paterno name will remain on the university's library.

Shortly before dawn in State College, Pa., a work crew installed chain-link fences to barricade access to Porter Road outside Beaver Stadium and covered the fence with a blue tarp.

The work crew then removed the 7-foot, 900-pound bronze statue by forklift and placed it into the lower level of the stadium. Erickson released his highly sensitive decision to the public at 7 a.m. ET Sunday.

As workers moved the statues, 100 to 150 students watched, some chanting, "We are Penn State."

The decision came 10 days after a scathing report by former FBI director Louis J. Freeh found that Paterno, with three other top Penn State administrators, had concealed allegations of child sexual abuse made against former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky. The Freeh report concluded their motive was to shield the university and its football program from negative publicity.

Meanwhile, on Monday, the NCAA hit Penn State with a $60 million sanction, a four-year football postseason ban and a vacation of all wins dating to 1998.

Paterno's career record will reflect these vacated records, the NCAA said.

Penn State must also reduce 10 initial and 20 total scholarships each year for a four-year period.

The Paterno family issued a statement only hours later saying the statue's removal "does not serve the victims of Jerry Sandusky's horrible crimes or help heal the Penn State community."
