Honoring my father on this Veteran's Day

Robert Daniel Collier served in the European Theater during the last part of World War II, then because of his foreign language skills posed as a clerk in an East German hotel sending info about the East Germans and Russians back to the US. He was slightly wounded in Korea and finally was in Vietnam during the very final part of Eisenhower's administration. He was shot while there by the Viet Cong, wounded seriously, transferred state side.

He died on December 18, 1964 at the age of 38. I was 7 years old. I still remember his military funeral to this day!
