Last night Rachel Maddow discussed the 1973 Nixon impeachment hearing coverage on NBC. She played the start of the coverage which included a soundtrack song. After a thought, I realized that it was March to the Scaffold! Thanks to the recent Halloween holiday in which I listen to my Cincinnati Pops CD Chiller, I remembered.
The total title of the song:
Hector Berlioz - Symphony Fantastique, 4th mouvement "Marche au supplice" (March to the Scaffold)
Imagine the fit Trump supporters would have if they did that today. Political correctness rules when they're offended. Whoever chose that song sure had some nerve. But the vice president had already resigned, we even had bumper stickers: one down, one to go. Evidently everyone was ready for Nixon to go. Just think how annoying and what a problem Trump is. 700,000 Daca recipients are suffering because of this one illegitimate creep.
They discuss this on a youtube of this segment, the song playing at about 1:40
