After Gym Jordan kept pissing and moaning about having "the person who started all of this" (ie: the whistleblower) come before us, Rep. Welch replied, "We would be happy to hear from the person that started all of this. President Trump is welcome to have a seat at that table and answer our questions".
It was a beautiful thing!

(4,291 posts)Their snake-oil sales team PACs and other fundraising machines (and their being totally soulless makes that term accurate) are blasting emails and dialing for dollars at a furious pace right now.
Their message might laud Rep. Numb-nuts (Nunes) and Assistant Coach Gym(shorts-around-his-ankles) Jordan for trying to divert, distract, and otherwise obfuscate the case for impeachment. Im going to go out on a limb here and suggest that they will use Faux Gnus to bolster their case. Especially any blatant lies that Hannity and Carlson spew on their shows tonight. (Id use the word naked in referring to their lies, but that might get Rep. Jordan excited).
And the really sad part: theyll probably be very successful. At least for now...

bring in the orange turd - put that fucker under the microscope.
And I also love how so much of Jordan's defense of Trump was "Obama's support of Ukraine wasn't as good as I wish it had been, so therefore, Trump did nothing illegal"

(1,300 posts)Some of these folks are amazingly good at thinking in real time. Okay, perhaps they have staffers to help out, but so do Nunes and Jordan.
That was a great response!
