Google ' number of democratic women U.S. house of representatives'. Or republican.

I can't find a number.
My 'gut' is there are more dem women than repug women in the house.
But I can't find the numbers.
Seems like it sould be readily available somewhere?

I just want a "There are __Democratic women in the House of Representatives."
I'm too lazy to do a head count.
Surely that info would be somewhere?
It's important.

I had to search for the number and ended up counting from the list posted at that site. 12 Democratic women and only 5 Republican women in the Senate. 55 Democratic women and only 23 Republican women in the House. Especially shocking when I read women accounted for 55% of the vote in the 2008 presidential election!
