I don't think Sarah Ryan is a truth stretcher, or an exaggerator, or economic of facts.

I think he's a pathological fucking liar.

I've known people like him. The pathology is that their imagination becomes their reality. I'd bet most anything, for example, that when Sarah spoke to Hew Hewitt about it, he really did think he'd run a sub 3 hour race. I doubt he didn't know the real truth, but at that moment when he spoke to Hue Hughit, he believed what he was saying.

That's the pathological part.

And that's why such people are dangerous. They're skilled, compelling, convincing, pathological fucking liars. I'll bet they could pass a polygraph test.
