(115,757 posts)(although, as the Nixon pardon proved, it's possible to pardon someone for crimes they have already committed but haven't been charged with yet), so theoretically, yes. But as Rosenberg pointed out, Stone is useless as a witness.

If he lies again, he can be charged for it all over again.

(12,393 posts)because Stones future testimony is no longer credible due to his history of repeated lies to congress. It wont be of any benefit for Rump, in fact it would make it look as though he was doing it out of friendship or loyalty which he would view as weakness.
