OOPs, McCain Praises Obama Instead Of Romney

McCain Praises Obama Instead Of Romney
Goose Creek Patch's Chris Winston reports:

Speaking to the crowd of several hundred gathered just two weeks before the South Carolina primary, McCain said:

"I am confident, with the leadership and the backing of the American people, President Obama will turn this country around."

He meant, of course, that presidential hopeful Mitt Romney could turn things around.

Still in search of his lost dignity, I see.

Lower, John, it's much lower than that. Dig.

all the other candidates always have supporters that you can tell support them.

but the audience at Romney events always seem like they don't really want to be there. they seem to not be totally paying attention and just there . like people waiting at the DMV or something.

notice how during the Iowa Caucus speeches Romney was the only one up there with just his wife and kids. the rest of the candidates had family and other supporters.

McCain kind of reminds me of Ted Kennedy when he started getting a little senile toward the end of his senate career. McCain should be admired for his heroism during Vietnam war as a pow, but his political career has come and gone and he should step aside. Do I want to vote for the republican candidate who couldn't beat McCain, who, then , in turn, couldn't beat Obama ? I think not.

People on the Repub side of the aisle keep saying they need to take out Romney to get a true conservative in place. What better way than to saddle Mittens with McCain?

I'll take that compliment. McCain is a much more respectable politician than the current GOP crop of kooks (except Huntsman).
