Will Republicans and Trump shut down the government to stop or stall the impeachment?

"Current government funding expires on Thursday, and the Democrats leading the House are proposing to keep spending at current levels for another month, with the hope they’ll be able to strike a deal with Republicans on a full spending bill by Dec. 20."

1. Trumps is more of a fool than we thought if he closes the gov. He got blamed

for the last closure. It took a little time but this time if will be quicker to point to the man who closed the government again.

ya know, parents sitting at the kitchen table latenite tapping pennies against the linoleum tabletop, figuring the budget.. weren't repugs hoping to shrink the gov't
to bathtub size?

I'm sure that will go over extremely well for those on forced furlough...and even much greater for those essential employees that are forced to work without pay.....can anyone say "slavery" ???

GOP never learns. Shutdowns are incredibly unpopular and the public will overwhelmingly blame them.

I remember the Repubs included a threat about it in their opposition remarks during the hearings, but I don't remember that level of detail.

Yeah, I think that's coming down the road at us. They'll get theirs. People won't forget when they can't have a holiday because of tRump and his party.
