they knew Nunes should have recused and they let him continue.

Whether a member under censure, or an ethics letter of reprimand, would be forced resign their seat on a committee, is up to the individual committee rules and the rules of his/her caucus.

Censure or reprimand only require a majority vote to pass. Expulsion from the House requires a 2/3rds majority (which the Democrats do not have).

. . . but I won't miss him at all. Now if Jordan and Castro could be kicked out, my annoyance level watching the hearings would drop dramatically.

the Republicans or just watch them screed and scream. They aren’t even hanging around to hear the testimony when it isn’t their turn. It’s all an act. Reality tv trauma drama for Trump to consume. They aren’t even trying to hide it.
