How different is your political life now compared to what it was in 2009?

Mine hasn't change one bit. I avoid talking politics with friends and family. I vote. I make the occasional call or send the occasional e-mail to my representatives. I contribute to campaigns and I post here at DU.

I cannot tolerate anyone who is still a fan of Trump - they make me sick.

desperate I am becoming pertaining to "political life". I hate to imagine what will happen if any of the preventative tests turn things up.

There's defintely more reticence on politics, myself included. I'm especially restrained if I dont know the other people well.

Now I am as active as I was then. I was a county party chair then. I still work just as hard to get Democrats elected.

I saw that today on FB.

Still, I have lost all respect for people I know who still identify as republican. This is gonna leave a mark. I will never look at them the same. There is not one redeeming quality about today's republican party & that is fact. I'm not rude to republicans I know, but I don't seek them out either.
