Outgoing Secretary of the Navy Spencer's resignation letter

Outgoing Secretary of the Navy Spencer’s resignation letter says that he “cannot in good conscience” obey an order he believes “violates the sacred oath“ he took & that he and POTUS disagree on the “key principle of good order and discipline”

UPDATE TO INCLUDE:

...the Secretary of Navy’s letter because it’s more accurate to describe it as an “acknowledgement of termination” letter (and NOT resignation letter)...

Now Trump can put his own Republican Asshole in that position of authority just like every other high office in the nation.

On a lighter note, I heard that the Dow Corning Corporation is having a real problem with producing enough of their bathtub caulk. It seems there has been a tremendous demand for the amount of Silicone needed by all the women who want a position near the president..............

Maybe he's afraid Trump will take away his retirement pension, like Trump did with Andrew McCabe.

I wonder how many people are carrying around typed, signed letters of resignation/acknowledgment of termination, ready to be dated and released.

I imagine they tend to stick together in military code.

Sure, Trump's the Commander In Chief, but what if he's also a lunatic?

On edit: I may have misunderstood as he was fired by the Pentagon for cutting a deal with the WH. I don't know how this plays out.
