Graham on House Judiciary's impeachment plans: 'Salem witches got a better deal'

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said “Salem witches got a better deal” than President Trump after viewing the House Judiciary Committee’s impeachment plans.

The president’s ally condemned House Democrats’ setup of the impeachment inquiry on Twitter after House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) sent a letter to the White House inviting the president to attend the Judiciary hearings beginning on Dec. 4. The president is supposed to respond by Sunday.

Graham said that was unfair, noting that Trump was being asked to testify after evidence had already been collected in hearings conducted by the House Intelligence Committee.

“Jerry Nadler is inviting President Trump to participate in the Judiciary Committee hearings — after all the facts were gathered in Schiff’s Intel Committee — where the president’s team was shut out,” he posted. “Salem witches got a better deal than this.”

that GOP representatives and staff counsel had an equal opportunity to question all of the witnesses. Unfortunately for them, though, the witnesses were solid and truthful (except maybe for Sondland), and their questioning by the GOPers consisted of bluster and ineptitude. But Lindsey knows that there are certain talking points he must recite in order to keep his treasured position as the biggest zit on Trump's ass.

compare this to Salem Witch hunt. Innocent people died because of superstition and lies. Yes, lies, just like what Graham and the rest of the Republican party are doing right now along with their chosen asshole. Conspiracy bullshit.

He makes me absolutely sick with his lies, obsequiousness and bullshit analogies. I can’t wait until the truth about him is exposed to the world. Because sooner or later, Trump will screw him over just like he does to everyone else.

Everyone knows that the Constitution guarantees every suspect the due process right to participate fully in the police investigations - which is why suspects and their defense attorneys are always present and participate when police officers and detectives interview witnesses get to require investigators to interview additional witnesses they select.

Duh. Hasn't anyone watched The Closer?

Oh, wait a minute. The Constitution DOESN'T require that? What's that you say? Even though the Constitution doesn't require that, the House Democrats gave Trump and his lawyers the ability to participate fully anyway, but they chose not to?

Really?

So, what's Lindsey Graham talking about? Is he stupid? Or does he think we are?

I'm embarrassed to live in a state where the majority of its citizens think that a loathsome, corrupt sack of shit liar such as yourself is worthy of being a US Senator. Go take a long walk off a short pier, asshole.
