Simpson testified for 10 hours to Senate Judiciary in 2017 and Dianne Feinstein publicly released the transcript almost 2 years ago. He also testified to Congress later in 2018. Bruce Ohr also testified to Congress in 2018 while Nellie Ohr invoked marital privilege to not have to testify since Repubs were on an unsuccessful fishing expedition to trip up or discredit Bruce Ohr.

Simpson and Ohr were thoroughly questioned regarding all the Fusion GPS and Steele Dossier origins and the testimonies were publicly disclosed so there was no need for Dems to bring them back and go down that rabbit hole again this year.

Simpson is a complicated character who took money from Russians to discredit Bill Browder and Simpson pled the 5th to Congress last year because his testimony differed from Bruce Ohr on the date they first met.
