MICHELLE OBAMA:
And if our parents and grandparents could toil and struggle for us, if they could raise beams of steel to the sky, send a man to the moon, and connect the world with the touch of a button, then surely we can keep on sacrificing and building for our own kids and grandkids.

however some of us have disabilities or other issues that prevent us from volunteering. I live in a super conservative area in SoCal and worked at the Dem Headquarters in 2004 and 2008. Unfortunately, my health has taken a turn for the worse and I'm pretty much homebound. One thing you can do at home is help with phone calls. Right now it seems that the deal is to push people to vote - haven't talked to anyone that hasn't made up their mind.
