It used to start High School fights in the days when I started teaching. As I had it explained to me it meant I am older and wiser than you, the equivalent of calling somebody “boy”. I never heard it used as a racial insult but am sure that was possible. The come back don’t call me “son” and I’m not your “boy”.

We need him desperately right now. Democrats try to be honorable and resign or get forced out without a second thought, but the repukes get to stay, no matter what they do—even if they are proven to be corrupt, dishonest, immoral, violent, racist, sexist, etc., etc.
