If Trump had just ASKED Ukraine for a Hunter Biden investigation it would've been bad but not impeachable. He wanted the investigation ANNOUNCED regardless of the results, as a means to influence the 2020 election. That's impeachable

obviously it wouldn't have the same political zing without the bribery/extortion component, but calling on a foreign government to fabricate a legal case against an american citizen for personal reasons is most certainly an abuse of power and therefore, a high crime and misdemeanor. i.e., impeachable.
