Love how there is always so much more diversity on the Democrats side of the aisle......

and how really white, older and mainly men are the Repubs. Although they do have two women on their Judiciary committee. Always seems like the Democrats ARE SO INCLUSIVE. Love that about our side, and makes me so proud.

They have young racists, and older racists.

They have young liars, and older liars.

They have young idiots, and older idiots.

Of course to looking for non-Caucasians, preferably northern European.

But that Republican house caucus we're seeing has 13 women (!), down from 23 last year, down from whatever. It never was much higher if at all. They're supporting male candidates over women for election and even reelection and treating congresswomen so poorly that last I heard 3 had announced they're not running again because of the hostile work environment.

Women senators are harder to take out, of course, since they're elected by whole states instead of districts and for 6 years instead of 2. But the only reason they have a woman on some of the important committees is for the TV cameras.

The Republican leaderships have regressed dangerously, with implications for the entire nation.

I'm also proud to be a Democrat. Took me some decades of pragmatic support, but I finally woke up to reality. It is something to be proud of.
