(21,910 posts)The pink color has a calming effect on our emotional energies and can relieve feelings of anger, aggression and neglect. There are studies confirming that high amounts of pink color can have a calming effect on the nerves and even create physical weakness in people. Pink has successfully treated violent and aggressive prisoners by placing them in rooms with pink walls over a certain period of time. Overexposure to the color may have the opposite effect though.
Pink helps people get in touch with their thoughtful and caring side, either through the need to receive, give or care for others. Please pay attention if you have a friend who often wears pink, as it may indicate a need to be accepted, supported and loved.

(129,560 posts)from those who already testified (both in public and behind closed doors - they just said 17 witnesses) - all without even needing to "officially" subpoena them because they voluntarily came. But just to cover their tracks, they subpoenaed them anyway just before they testified so they could cover themselves since a number were still working for the government.
not_the_one
(2,227 posts)EVERY person who ignored a subpoena should be arrested for contempt.
Once the court decision is issued, and if subpoenas must be honored, re-issue every subpoena that was ignored and arrest their ass if they don't comply.
It doesn't matter that we were able to get information voluntarily.
There HAS to be consequences.
BumRushDaShow
(129,560 posts)There is usually a standard "escalation" process that Congress goes through when requesting witness testimony. And the entire logistics of "arresting a person" has pretty much been dismantled within the Capitol so although it sounds good, actually doing it would be like a Keystone Cops affair.
I think the consequences will come however. It's never "instant".
