to educate him etc., tell him stuff, he ignores all, and goes about it all alone w/o benefit of any knowledge of anything as usual. So, even if the Russians, Chinese, whomever attempted to spy on rump, I'd say 'good luck in gaining any meaningful information'.

We all know that rump is so into himself that a spy would probably end up with a recording full of nonsense mutterings about how manly he is etc., which of course is totally gross and totally wrong.

Still, he might pick up enough to drop a clue or two. Remember this last Sept. when they extracted a source who for decades had been telling the CIA what was going on with Putin? I think Rachel put it this way--the source was close enough to see documents on Putin's desk. Then after Trump blabbed his fool head off to the Russians a day after the Mueller report was released, the CIA decided to remove the source (the article surmises it could have been for any number of reasons, however). Quote from NY Times:

“We have a president who, unlike any other president in modern history, is willing to use sensitive, classified intelligence however he sees fit,” said Steven L. Hall, a former C.I.A. official who led the agency’s Russia operations. “He does it in front of our adversaries. He does it by tweet. We are in uncharted waters.”

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/09/us/politics/cia-informant-russia.html

The article states that info on this source was not even included in Obama's daily briefings--any reference to him was sent to Obama in print in an envelope, hand delivered.

But your point is well taken. By the time Trump filters the information, it probably comes out like something Forrest Gump would say. "Stupid is as stupid does."
