Why are Republicans such dicks? (part 4,917)
Republican voters aren't just rural people or Wall Street denizens.
They include those who like authoritarians, or those who love their guns more than a sane country, or those who like "strong leaders," or those who vote for Republicans because their parents did, or those who don't pay much attention and pick up on only sound bites, or those who hate everyone who isn't white and/or "Christian," or those who think "They're all the same," or those who are just plain ignorant enough to vote against their own well being.
Whatever the reason, Republican voters are willing to put up with selfishness, greed, cruelty, and outright evil.
Elected Republicans understand all this and run their campaigns accordingly.
Democrats also understand their voters and play to their values and interests.
The obvious difference between the two is that Democrats are appealing to what's good in humans and for the survival of the planet. Republicans are appealing to every attribute that horrid dicks appeal to.This is what Republicans are. This is who they are.
Oh, in case I haven't said it often enough over many years, Republicans are dicks.

That's why they're the liars, bullies, cowards, and dumb jocks. They're the people who stuff you into lockers and throw you face down in the mud, then laugh about it. There will always be these people and we need to fight them at every possible turn.
