Mongolian ambassador visited Mar-a-Lago before Trump Jr. got coveted permit to hunt rare sheep
The ambassador of Mongolia and foreign minister visited Mar-a-Lago when Donald Trump Jr. was celebrating Easter with the Trump family. Four months later, the Mongolian government gave Trump Jr. a coveted permit to hunt a rare sheep.
About four months before Donald Trump Jr. went to Mongolia in August, where he reportedly managed to get a coveted permit to kill a threatened-species of sheep after he shot and killed the animal, the Mongolian ambassador and foreign minister visited Mar-a-Lago.
Whether Trump Jr., who was also at Mar-a-Lago celebrating Easter with his children that weekend, met with the Mongolian officials and discussed the hunting trip is not known. Trump Jr. could not be reached for comment and the Mongolian embassy in Washington did not respond to questions about the Mar-a-Lago visit.
Hunting of the rare argali sheep is managed by the Mongolian government, which issued only 86 permits during this year’s hunting season, according to ProPublica.
However, an investigation by ProPublica released Wednesday found that Trump Jr., an avid big-game hunter, received special treatment from the Mongolian government. According to the report, permits to hunt argali sheep are controlled by “an opaque permitting system that experts say is mostly based on money, connections and politics.”

the survival of a threatened species. Among actual Christians, Easter is a time of reflection on the sacrifice of the "Lamb of God" to take away the sins of the world. Among Trumps, apparently it is a time to work a nepotism/quid pro quo grift so they can wantonly kill an endangered lamb of Mongolia for vanity, bragging rights, and a trophy. The whole damn family makes me
