speed this trial in the Senate and is fully in Trump's favor it makes me think about how Trump operates. He expects people to go before the cameras and go public with views that are favorable to him.
Graham is so obviously in Trump's pocket because he is very out in the public tooting Trump's horn, showing his loyalty, loud and clear.
Reminds me of sleazy Roger Ailes and his expectation of a sign of loyalty.

(10,952 posts)Other then his base, he will never be considered acquitted by everyone else. History will depict him as a President who relied upon Russia to put him in the WH and the Senate to keep him there. He will be the OJ Simpson of Presidents.
Like OJ, it will be only a matter of time before some Prosecutor gets the godds on him and he is still legally at risk in any State or Local Court should a good case be make against him.

(40,224 posts)trustworthy....) Mika said something like her favorite game is called What happened to Lindsey Graham?
Something had to have happened. Graham turned on a dime. I wouldnt doubt if he actually hates Trump and this is all the behavior of a compromised man. FWIW, Lindsey Graham looks awful lately. He looks like he doesnt get enough sleep, like he is nervous and stressed out, and he has gained weight. He looks like his life is shit.

(14,276 posts)His disgraceful behavior of late has erased any legacy he was hoping leave behind. He has sold out our country. There is nothing I could learn about Lindsey Graham that would make me think less of him than this.

(11,823 posts)And that would not play well in SC with Grahams base. Trump has proof of his affairs and is using it against him. Nothing else makes sense.

(14,276 posts)No one cares if he is gay or straight. But we do care about his late in life choice to become a henchman.

(46,758 posts)the FISA warrants had recorded him talking to a foreign entity. There was a moment where he twisted his face, showing he was very concerned. Do not know who he was talking to on the phone. Is it possible he was flirting because they're both gay?

(42,862 posts)Well! The delicate Southern Gentleman from South Carolina is having what can only be described as a hissy fit. If you listen carefully, you can hear Little Lindsey stomp-stomp-stomping his way down the terrazzo floors in the Halls of Congress... click-click-click go the heels and toes of his patent leather tap shoes. Eventually he reaches his office and slams the door behind him with a level of force and strength that defies the meek appearance he has when wearing his short pants and matching waistcoat. Still, even with the door firmly closed, passers-by can hear the shrill shrieks emanating from behind the polished oak door... along with the unmistakable sounds of his glass menagerie collection being thrown to the floor. Why! Lordy, you never heard such a fuss! Someone needs to check on him.
