Another example of why the media sucks

Trump has repeatedly tried to defend his phone call with President Zelensky by demanding that people "read the transcript."

Why hasn't a single "reporter" pointed out to Trump that we've never seen the transcript since it's locked up on a secure system. All we've seen is the memorandum released by the White House. Interestingly, even the memo points towards Trump's guilt.

If Trump were sincere that this was a "perfect phone call," he'd release the actual transcript and perhaps even a recording. Why hasn't he done that?

More importantly, why hasn't any reporter asked Trump those questions?

They need to fact-check that EVERY TIME! No one has yet seen the transcript!

vindman requested 2 additions where important stuff was deleted, but of course russian repugs wouldn't fix it. Even so he said it was substantially the same. Someone else (Hale?) also said the same thing. Why dems didn't push this more is because Vindmann basically undercut them when being pushed by repugs.
