Trump's Ugly Diss of the Late Congressman Dingell Was Typical Bully Behavior

By inferring that Dingell was looking up from Hell, Trump thought he was making a joke. Instead, he was just acting like the bully he is, and with no regard for the man's family. That's so typical of bullies. They use cruelty as humor, and then are surprised when they are called on it. "Can't you take a joke?" they say...

Sadly, when it's the President doing it, nobody can sock him on the nose for that cruel attempt at humor. That would be well-deserved, though.

He cares nothing for any human being on this planet. He cares nothing about their families, friends, loved ones. He cares about nothing, absolutely nothing, but himself. I don't have a single doubt that he'd toss Ivanka into a pit of acid if it furthered his own wants, wishes, and power.

The man wants to be King. He wants to be Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, Zeus, Odin, etc,, and all of them rolled up into one master of the universe. (It goes without saying that his professed love of Jesus, and his expressed hatred of Mohammed aside, he's clueless as to who any the others are.)

He's far more than a bully. He combines stupid and evil into one extremely dangerous package.

(As a devout agnostic, I used to avoid the use of the word "evil." But I've come to realize that one not believe or disbelieve in any dogma in order to believe in the existence of evil.)

Donald Trump is an evil man. As are many of the people in the Republican Party.

If Trump "wins" (actually steals) the 2020 election democracy is over and we are over.

This cannot be allowed to happen. And, please indulge me here for a moment. If Trump gets four more years, and the Republicans still control the senate, America will be the new Nazi
Germany. Yeah, I know. That makes me sound like some crazed fanatic.

But I'll tell you what. Get back to me on that if you find yourself in a concentration camp. Or worse.

Call me Negative Nancy or Debbie Downer but the level of support that monster gets shows how sick this country has become.

It is certainly not the majority. It is a small but still significant amount of people who adhere to Trump's mode of thought. A larger group understands that he is wrong, but will not say anything because the conservative mindset is drawn to follow authority.

Anyway, the United States has always struggled (as have many countries) with following our ideals versus following our fears and prejudices. Over the decades things like racism, sexism, and xenophobia have been pushed down and made socially unacceptable to lesser and greater degrees, but the attitudes have always remained within a shrinking group of people.

What Trump has done is made is more acceptable, or at least he gives cover for those attitudes to re emerge. It looks like it is growing, but what you are really seeing is all the jerks coming out from the cracks and crevices that they have been forced into over the decades. It will take some time and some stability in leadership to push them back down there, but what I really hope is that we as a nation can have an honest reckoning with our history and how women, minorities, immigrants, and the poor have been and are still being treated. We cannot move forward without dealing with the things that we have done in the past.

in November, 2020. Lashing out at a deceased and well respected leader isn't going to sit well with a lot of people, including me. Rump's pathetic behavior goes to show what a little man he really is.

He enjoys attacking the dead.

When he's gone, the majority of us will not need words.

We will enjoy the absence of his unending lies. We will enjoy turning on the TV and not seeing his face the first thing in the morning. We will enjoy the lack of tweets. We will enjoy the fact that his death will, incrementally, make the world a better place.

All I really care about today is that they impeached MF45. Seriously - the 3rd impeached in the House since the beginning of the Republic. That's what the history books will say.
