The Funny Thing about Not Sending the Articles to the Senate

is that Congress is in recess right now. Everyone has gone home for the holidays. They'll be back in business on January 7, 2020. There will be no sending of anything to the Senate until then.

Foolishness! All foolishness and nonsense.

Yes, I wondered what the fuss was about, since no action could be taken until January anyway. Midnight Writer Dec 2019 #11

... get sour, bitter, and scorched if you leave it on the stove too long ?

Poor Mango Mussolini the scrutiny of the Office of the Presidency is just too much for this Mafia Mobster Monster Thug.

He would have been better off to have never run for President, stayed in New York, and laundered Russian ill begotten money for Putin's syndicate of thugs, murderers, and thieves.

It's interesting that the impeachment vote in the House happened just before the holiday recess, isn't it? Plenty of time for folks to really think about it over the holidays. Time for Senate candidates, too, who are up for election in 2020 to hear from their constituents and contributors, too.

I'm of the mind they shouldn't be sent, at all. Just let the ingrate languish as a perpetually impeached, never acquitted president.

Today he's demanding a trial and wants to start yesterday.

Speaker Pelosi knows exactly how to tear him up.

Make. Him. Suffer. - through the next few weeks.

Moscow Mitch himself said he would not take it up until at least January.

If Pelosi had sent the Articles to the Senate the next day, I wouldn't have expected action until after the recess.
