First email that drew our interest is one from June 19. In it, a White House official in charge of handling national security funds says that "The President has asked about this funding release" for Ukraine #Ukrainedocs

Okay, here's the interesting one. Less than two hours after #Trump had his call with #Zelensky on July 25 the White House budget official sends a note to the Pentagon saying that Ukraine funds are being held. "based on guidance I have received"

Clearly the official knew this kind of hold might raise questions "Given the sensitive nature of the request, I appreciate your keeping that information closely held to those who need to know to execute direction."
