The Panic Button

Republicans started panicking the minute the IMpOTUS left for Mara-Lago for the holidays – away from their scrutiny, away from their ability to talk him in off the ledge when he starts talking about suicide – like having a full-blown televised Senate trial, where he will so dazzle the American audience with his brilliance, his complete exoneration will be proclaimed throughout the land.

Now out of their reach, their “IMpResident” will be courted by his Mara-Lago ‘advisors’ – the ass-kissers who will tell him exactly what he wants to hear: ”This trial should be however YOU want it to be. Don’t let ‘em push you around.”

There is no doubt that the powers-that-be in the GOP are literally shitting themselves right now. Their out-of-control “ImpResident” is out of their control – and the consequences will undoubtedly be disastrous.

Tweets will fly, and self-incriminating statements will be made. The ‘defence’ the GOP is currently crafting will be undermined, potential talking points will be rendered inoperative – in short, the entire project will have to go back to the drawing board every time the “IMpResident” opens his mouth.

What’s really staggering about all of this is that the people closest to Trump are afraid that his own stupidity, his own lack of self-control, his own inability to remain silent and not lash out like a two-year-old having a tantrum, will dig the hole he’s already in deeper still.

The question that must be asked: Why is a man too incompetent to know when to shut up for his own good running a nation? And what kind of people – knowing he IS that incompetent – would be working 24/7 to keep him in that position?

What kind of people live in fear of their “IMpResident” saying things that have to be reconstructed, explained away, covered for – and yet still devote themselves to maintaining the illusion that he knows what the fuck he’s talking about?

What kind of ‘patriots’ spend their every waking hour hoping that the man who is in the most powerful position on the planet isn’t exposed as the incompetent idiot they know him to be?

Anyone who loves this country, and believes in everything it stands for, wouldn’t be shitting themselves worrying about what their “IMpResident” might do to destroy his chances for re-election – they’d be worrying about what he continues to do to destroy our democracy.

Collaborators – we know who they are. They’re the people who would see our country’s foundations decimated without regard for the consequences – so determined to serve and protect an idiot, they’d rather sit in their own feces than admit they are devoted to an incompetent madman.

They hate them. They only care about their political agenda of tax cuts, hurting the poor, attacking the different and consolidating their power.

trump was installed by putin , and got caught trying to rig the next election , and using Barr fixed the Mueller investigation, and now tries to fix the trial. Republicans in Congress are so compromised from money funneled into their campaigns from putin , and other crimes putins hackers have uncovered they are being blackmailed I think, and manipulated by trump and putin now. The truth is their biggest enemy now. I suspect trump's already looking for an exit deal knowing he won't win , and won't even make it to the next election . That's why he's acting out and so desperate, he knows it too.

said "My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.”

Somewhere along the line - and JFK was a long time ago - it's become distorted into:

'Ask not what you can do for your country, ask what your country can do for you.'

Throw in 'Greed is good', and it's a free for all. How can you get rich quick is THE question, and if you need to step on some heads on the way, don't hesitate. Nothing else matters, money and power are everything.

Only one question: Where and when did things start to go wrong?

he wants to hear about running his own trial -- they are committing political suicide themselves, aren't they? When he goes down, so do they. Why would they do that?
