Debbie Dingell says Trump's remarks were a gut punch

“It just sort-of kicked me in the stomach,“ Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.) said Sunday about President Donald Trump’s suggestion her late husband might be in hell.

Speaking Wednesday at a campaign rally in her home state of Michigan, Trump had joked her late husband, longtime Rep. John Dingell, might be “looking up” — a suggestion he could be in hell instead of heaven. The barb drew rebukes from both sides of the aisle, including such Republicans as Michigan Rep. Fred Upton, Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw and South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham.

“I think he crossed the line there,“ Dingell told host Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday.”

I wish it didn't hurt her, an insult coming from a sad pathetic little man like that, but i know it would hurt me too.

I'm hoping she is very vocal in 2020 for the Dem running as MI, WI and PN is gong to be so crucial......... make him suffer in Michigan for what he said about one of our heroes. (I'm a MI resident for the record)

Is there a slow moving change at Fox? Or just Chris Wallace?

His comments lost the State of Michigan for the Rethugs in this next cycle.
