Note to GOP Senators: Rid Yourselves of Donald Trump Now!

For goodness' sake, think about it. He's dragging down you and the party you're part of. Here are four reasons to remove him from office when you return from your nice Holiday recess:

1. He will get worse quickly over time. Are you not tired of him poisoning everything?
2. If you remove him from office, what will happen? That's simple. You get Mike Pence.
3. Check out the House GOP. They're bailing out already. They know they're screwed, so they're taking early retirement.
4. Mike Pence. He's awful, but will not embarrass you further. Just go with him and Dump Trump!

Bonus Reason: The entire nation will breathe a sigh of relief. I'll bet you could use some relief, too.

in a no win box. The Court rulings will be dropping at the most disadvantageous times during the Orange Anus reelection Campaign Propaganda tour. And if it does end up with Mothers Boy,well,he too would be drive by collateral damage.

6. Nope. House Democrats won't impeach Pence.

There's no time for that. Since Pence is eminently beatable in a presidential election, why would they bother?

Trump will throw you under the bus eventually anyway. Might as well desert him now instead of later. Save what little dignity you have left.

Lindsey Graham, and others. I suspect all of the risk for that would go away if they give Trump the boot. Otherwise, the dirt might well be uncovered. And there is dirt, no doubt at all.

So, Mitch and Lindsey, you might want to give a thought at protecting yourselves. The facts are out there somewhere. Someone will dig them out eventually.

Maybe they think they are so far in, there is no turning back, but you can always take some steps to minimize the eventual damage.

Whatever happens though, I think Graham's and McConnell's political careers are finished.

Pence would weaken the party even further, which would be a great thing. The Tea Party Right would be so angry that Trump was gone that they'd pay no attention to Pence's crushing Dominionism. Pence is a nebbish. He has no personality. He has zero gravitas. He has no power to get the masses behind him.

That's why dumping Trump by the Republican Senate would be such a great thing to happen. The entire conservative movement would collapse in on itself, and internal infighting would distract from the Democrats taking over, maybe once and for all.

However, some Republican Senators would survive to serve another term. Enough that we should be able to convince them to get rid of Trump to save their own asses. Should. It probably won't happen, but it should.

Are they going to be much worse off if they keep Trump or cut their losses and regroup?

14. Exactly. I hope they're thinking about that during the holiday recess.

I hope they hear from their constituents, as well, while they're home. I also hope that some other bad news for Trump comes out between now and the time they go back into session.
