If you think his charity does good work, fine.

(11,684 posts)Gary Sinise, along with Kelsey Grammer, and Jon Voight are actors of Right Wing persuasion. Cons who flow with honest compassion for fallen soldier families and want to do good for them. And as Conservatives, they likely support all war, anywhere, all the time.
(For starters nearly one in five Fallen soldiers is black. How many black children do you see surrounding Gary Sinise in the image? I grew up in big time military family (recalling the remaining shrapnel I felt in my Marine Brother's leg as a kid in the 70's and my Father's Nazi pennant he brought back from WII). We have come to loathe Conservatives, no matter how well-intentioned they appear regarding war and soldiers, for promoting America's dependency on war with a lot of dangerous idealization of war.)

Military charity work is a very effective red white and blue shield against any other criticism. Even Trump knows that.
