place. They have other wildlife too.

I didn’t see an easy link for donations on their site but you may have more luck.

There are also nice wildlife sanctuaries near Melbourne and Sydney.

I'm trying to find out if they have an Australia page up. They've gotten a lot of fire experience here in California, unfortunately, but were also first on the scene in Haiti when they had their earthquake simply because they have an ongoing presence there.

They're very good at providing medical supplies and services, and have an outstanding rating from Charity Navigator.

Going back to keep checking.


UPDATE: I have an email off to DR, but I think what's happening is that Australia is a developed country, so not DR's usual target.
They've been in business over 40 years, operating out a gigantic warehouse in my former hometown Goleta, CA. In recent years they gained a higher local profile handing out supplies for those of us in the path of wildfires -- the smoke masks in particular are a godsend, and not always available otherwise.
