You've Got To Wonder ...

… how many people will NOT be booking stays at Trump hotels, resorts, or golf clubs from here on in, given the present circumstances.

Just a guess – but I’d imagine that the name ‘Trump’ emblazoned on any property is looking like a flashing neon bull’s-eye to most people right now.

We know the IMPOTUS doesn’t give a shit about the consequences of his actions to anyone other than himself. And as always, he was too stupid to realize that the first ‘hit’ of retaliation would be the financial hit he’s about to take.

I doubt that even the most deranged Trump-Humper is willing to shell out exorbitant fees to stay at a hotel that has ‘most likely target’ written all over it.

Trump would most likely make money if one of his properties is destroyed unless the insurer has some clause about deliberate destruction. Not sure how that works in other countries like Turkey.

He'd get the government to pay for the upgrades, would get publicity for the place, and would have high occupancy during a typically-slow period.

And once the G7 was gone, the government would have to pay to "restore" it.

And anyhow, Trump doesn't actually own most of those properties any more; he just owns the Trump brand and licenses it to the owners. My guess is that the owners will want to shed that name ASAP in order to avoid those properties becoming targets.

like to join her on a shopping trip to Paris or Dubai, etc. Not a chance in hell.

Imagine Don Jr or Eric asking a friend to join them on a hunting trip in Africa, or anywhere outside the U.S. Not a chance in hell.

They now have targets on their backs, and if they travel outside the U.S. in the next decade or two, I wouldn't be surprised to read about a hunting/shooting accident, or someone who slipped off the roof of an overseas hotel.

I strongly believe that he is not capable of understanding there are always consequences from actions, good or bad, an action always creates a reaction. I do believe he is incapable of any understanding about consequences.

His entire life he just did what he pleased and his daddy, and lawyers, bailed him out, he never looked at the consequences and in his brain it is difficult to think they even exist.

He needs to go behind bars, I don't understand why he is out and about. He and Barr are imminent dangers to the country, they must both be placed in confinement, Barr must be disbarred.

When presented with options for dealing with Iran's involvement in the Iraq embassy incident, he chose the one that would grab the most publicity, distract from his impeachment and make him look like a tough guy at this moment, with no thought to the extent of the blowback. He was probably briefed on that as well, but he doesn't listen to briefings because he's just fucking stupid.

And the possibility they do something at his properties will hurt him the most, in his profits, which is what he is obsessed with . His properties values will spiral downward now even more then they already have. Of corse he'll try to claim the opposite , but people will not believe his lies anymore.

I wrote at the beginning of Trumpy's term that his self destruction would be the principle feature of his presidency. Trumpy, I wrote, would accumulate enemies and then take revenge on those who would challenge his performance. War would be a strong possibility because Trumpy is willfully ignorant and will even endanger his own businesses as they are vulnerable to terrorist attacks. Trumpy has seemingly forgot that people who want a peaceful life will NOT enter into buildings marked by a Trumpy business because Trumpy's unparalleled ability to make enemies will make ALL of his businesses vulnerable to attack. Trumpy's greed and his refusal to disengage in his businesses while president brought on his own financial demise. Now NO ONE will patronize his businesses, except money launderers. And that's bad for Trumpy as well, because money laundering only works when it's disguised as something else. From this point forward, there will be no legitimate customers at his named hotels for the money launderers to hide behind.
