Do you remember Lynne Cheney, near the end of W's 2nd term, calling for a "Bush Dynasty?"

I don't have a link for you, but longtime DUers will remember her saying that Laura needed to run for POTUS while various Bush offspring lined up to fulfill their destiny.

As painful as it has been to see the calls for Don Jr and Ivanka to run in 2024, there's a silver lining to that cloud...I haven't seen ANYONE throw Eric's hat into the ring. Womp, womp...



I will give Dubya credit for one thing...reluctantly...he's kept a relatively low profile since leaving office. Don't expect that from Trump. He'll still tweet 7 days a week, and remember his proposed fall-back plan if he didn't win in 2016...a 24/7 "Trump Channel."
