Well, it's looking likely that Iraq is about to throw US troops

out of the country. And what will Trump do about that? Refuse to leave? What?

Whether by incompetence or design it's about damned time that we leave them the hell alone.

It's pretty much one of the things that he ran on, but nobody listened I guess.

The ME needs to be ruled by strongmen like Hussein, Assad, the Ayatollahs and the rest.

We've never had any business there.

My expectation is that when the Iraqi parliament clearly acts to expel US forces, Trump will simply ignore it.

At that point, we will clearly be an occupying force.
