I've got a suspicion that Trump miiiiight not understand what winning hearts and minds means

Between basically attempting to extort Iraq with sanctions if they don't keep troops there to proposing bombing cultural sites with no military value in Iran... someone in his cabinet HAS told him it's not about literally blowing the hearts and minds out of people, right?
