If the Iraqis tell us to leave--what if Trump tells them to fuck off...?

...I'm certain that there are people around him who are saying this to him right now. Let a pissant government tell *him*, and the US, what to do? Especially when our war with Iran is coming up? There are all sorts of ways this situation could devolve into chaos, and I'm not even sure this scenario makes the Top Ten...but it's something to consider...

Trump is using the excuse that the order is meangless because Iraq's prime minister is "acting"

Odd coming from someone whose cabinet is half "acting"

that the US would withdraw monetary support and impose sanctions "like have never been seen before".

So Iraq goes from marginal puppet supporting US to worse than Iran / North Korea on our "bad guys" list.

Iraq has been put into an untenable position.

They have been asked to choose sides.

If they let the US stay, then any war that gets fought will likely play out within their borders.

If they ask the US to leave, and they don't, the war will again largely take place within their borders.

Their best case scenario is to ask the US to leave and that we go. It is the equivalent of a bar owner asking unruly patrons to take their fight outside.

If the scenario you lay out happens, the shit will hit the fan. We will abandon all pretense of not being occupiers. We could end up in a war with Iraq and Iran while trying to wage operations from enemy territory. We would have no choice but to increase our footprint elsewhere in the Middle East which will lead to its own set of problems.

Not good.

and there's nothing His Lardship can do about it unless he wants to start another war against them. I wouldn't put that past him, though.

Between Iran and Iraq they could easily uncover enough crimes he's done or involved in, and stop him, like putin , the prince, Erdogan, and kim have done.

majority Shia Population which was ruled by Sunni's the minority population. In that, the answer is,look out below,it is going to be much like Vietnam.

In the end,Iranian Influence will control one segment,Putin will control another and the Kurds will be the odd persons out.
