Susan Hennessy is saying Bolton agreeing to testify means McConnell's effed...

Susan Hennessey ✔ @Susan_Hennessey

Bolton saying he will testify if subpoenaed effectively forces McConnell's hand. It's hard to imagine how Senate Republicans could possibly justify not calling him.

John Bolton ✔ @AmbJohnBolton

I have posted a brief statement regarding testimony on the Ukraine impeachment matter before the Senate at: https://www.boltonpac.com/2020/01/statement-of-john-r-bolton/

Susan Hennessey ✔ @Susan_Hennessey

Even if McConnell had votes to prevent Bolton from testifying, Bolton is clearly going public with story (either in Senate or in interviews/his book). If a small delay in story getting out is worth political hit, that's surely a sign McConnell is TERRIFIED of what Bolton knows.

He may be happy to leave the bad stuff out of the book if he gets something in return. Like an attack involving Iran.
He won't be getting a subpoena from the Senate imo.

He is definitely not trying to do the right thing for the US.

I don't believe he will ever reveal anything we haven't already heard from anyone else. The only difference is it will be coming from Bolton, who is now irrelevant as ever for refusing to testify in the House. Fuck that Ned Flanders lookalike and the horse he rode in on.

Same here 👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻

I have a great deal respect for & faith in what Neal Katyal, who said per Seth Abramson's re-tweet today, that former White House sources said that Bolton's testimony would be very damaging to fat ass if he were to testify.

Tell you what, I KNOW funny mustache was orgasmic when it was confirmed that Soleimani was taken out by putin's warmongerer-in-chief last week. No, Bolton will have to show me that he has one ounce of humanity/decency in him if he does testify truthfully at some point here soon.

I believe the House invited him to come in during their investigations but he declined. I know he's obligated to tell the truth and all, but I don't trust him. Maybe the House should consider giving him a subpoena now. It'll show whether he's being true of playing everyone for suckers. Again, I don't trust him.

He ain't effed, he ain't even sweating.

Bolton won't be called as a witness. There aren't 4 votes to force it. There will be zero republicans voting for that.

Bolton knows that. Notice he didn't volunteer to testify before the house.

2) if Bolton gives interviews outside the Senate, it will just be drowned out by the vortex of disaster, scandal and corruption surrounding Trump
