I'm trying to figure out whatever happened to this court-ordered release.

The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday ordered the release of certain sealed documents in a mysterious legal battle between a foreign company and special counsel Robert Mueller.

The three-judge panel ordered that the federal government file redacted versions of court filings in the case by June 21. The court also ordered that the government submit proposed redactions to the transcript of one proceeding in the case by July 12.

However, the judges rejected a request by the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, which sought the documents, that they order the name of the unknown company be revealed.

Still, the documents could reveal new details about the secretive legal battle.

Who can beat me to the answer?

ON UPDATE: I found this page on Courtlistener, but nothing's available for free.

The order may have limited their release to certain parties but didn't authorize disclosure to the public.

Who appear to be the source of the requests.

But it looks like even though they said they would release them, they are still entertaining redactions, so nothing has probably been released.

But it is interesting that a court has essentially ruled that the American people have no legal right to know the identity of a foreign company operating inside the United States which has engaged in subversive activities against the American people.

Oh, and said company is apparently still operating within the United States.

I just looked at it, and I run RECAP, so it may turn up on the CT docket after some processing time. However, RECAP doesn't always deal with circuit court materials gracefully.

But, gee, for a buck sixty, why not go for it?

I just got back from a long dentist appointment, so -- while i haven't looked it yet -- it was nice to see this waiting for me.

Better than the dentist's office!
