Bolton has always wanted us to go to war with Iran right. Maybe ... maybe he's thinking If he just threatens to testify and tells what he knows under oath mind you ... it would be the last domino to push Trump into a full blown all out wag the dog war against Iran, and not just an escalation, no mater who try's to talk Trump down from this?
