He will NEVER testify. Mitch won't allow it, and there aren't 4 republicans willing to force it.

The house has to subpoena him. His testimony has to be forced, and released.

I cannot imagine that Shitgibbon would stop at murdering hundreds if he thought it would help keep him in power. He didn't lose a wink of sleep over the killing of Khashoggi, he hasn't lost a wink over the caging of children and the forcible breakup of immigrant families.

So he'll temper his testimony even if he goes through with it.

It's very disappointing to see it but knowing that it exists and that as we get closer to elections it will probably increase, is the first step in eliminating it. It's why the "trash thread" option is such a gift.

When in doubt assume Republicans will always do the wrong thing.

If Bolton is allowed to testify he'll cover for Trump. If his intention is to tell the truth then other Republicans will block him from testifying. When you assume that they're all willfully evil it just makes things an awfully lot easier to predict.

Bolton can’t lie under oath. He will be subject to direct examination. Prosecutors will be dealing with facts and corroboration. Opinions may or may not be requested, and may be irrelevant anyway. Bolton is an attorney. He knows what direct examination is, and he will respond accordingly.

Speculation was rampant.

The FBI, which initially sent agents to help recover debris, investigated possible foul play in the crash. After a few days, the Bureau determined that the crash was accidental, but only after following several criminal leads involving death threats. Wellstone had been receiving death threats since he took office; the FBI tapped his phone to locate the callers.
