He's a scumbag and a crook, just like the rest of them. He couldn't be trusted to scoop out the cat box every day, let alone do the right thing here. That being said, there is no honor among thieves, and Bolton wouldn't hesitate to throw Trump under the bus if it benefits him in any way--even if it's just revenge. I hope he does, but I'm not going to hold my breath on him doing so.

The monkey’s paw is to get Leader Pelosi to send the Articles of Impeachment over to Moscow Mitch, so the Senate can vote to not remove trumplethinskin.
Bolton’s invitation to testify is nothing but a trick to help McConnell.

Do not trust Bolton.

Bolton has always wanted us to go to war with Iran right. Maybe ... maybe he's thinking If he just threatens to testify and tells what he knows under oath mind you ... it would be the last domino to push Trump into a full blown all out wag the dog war against Iran, and not just an escalation, no mater who try's to talk Trump down from this? Maybe he's just throwing more gasoline on the fire Trump started and pushing him further into the corner. . These people are truly cynical, greedy and evil. All of um. Just a thought. Peace.

And I might add, it's probably too late anyway from this getting out of hand with what info I've caught up with today. Resist.

...is what democrat Senators in their roles as cross-examiners should be prepared for. The MSM narrative was that Bolton was pushed out b/c he was too much of a maniac regarding IRAN. Which was part of this public relations campaign to let the American People think that there were level headed professionals keeping Trump in check. Recall the leaked memo by some anonymous insider?

Bolton could re-hired by Trump before the weekend.

Quid pro quo.

Trump took out the Iranian general and it pleased Bolton as that was his idea first. Now Bolton will screw up the Impeachment with disinformation under oath, telling Congress, the country, and the world that Trump is blameless for the Ukraine. And the Democrats will be unable to impeach (so, to speak, meaning challenge) his testimony for mendacity.

Having Bolton testify would harm removing Trump from office.

He is banking on the Republicans not calling witnesses. He'll say he was open to testifying. Then he can speak (without being sworn in) through his book. Truth/half-truth/lies who knows what will be in this book. The house should call him to testify since he's now a willing witness.

He wouldn't want to show up at a House investigation, since it's controlled by Dems. The Senate questioning would be much friendlier. He can pretty much throw word salad at any questions from Dems. The Reps will just lob softballs to him.

The Speaker should hold the articles of impeachment until the SCOTUS rules to enforce the House's subpoena power.

That will be June, at the latest.

Meanwhile, make it clear that the impeachment inquiry *remains open*.

And as soon as that process is complete, force every damn one of them -- including Bolton -- to testify under oath before the House committees.

And nobody should give a damn if he's "willing" or not.
