Well, looks like the UN General Assembly will be getting a new home in the next decade

https://foreignpolicy.com/2020/01/06/trump-administration-blocks-iran-foreign-minister-zarif-addressing-un-security-council/

In the darkest hours of the Cold War when the Soviets were threatening us with nuclear annihilation, we kept with the terms of the Headquarters Agreement which allows any accredited diplomat free travel to the UN headquarters.

I will be surprised if NYC remains the UNGA HQ in 2030.

I think once the Mango Menace is gone, things will return to normal at the UN, besides, foreign diplomats love NYC.

And that includes restoring much of the stabilizing effect our nation once provided, not continuing down this aberrant path.

Much of our previous role, not all. Other major nations being forced to assume more of the burden, so that what happens in the U.S. won't immediately destabilize the entire planet, will hopefully be a positive result of the Trump era.

Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa...

All beautiful cities and easy to fly to...Air Canada and Lufthansa and Scandinavian Airlines have great flights and service from Frankfurt and Copenhagen and most major cities worldwide and they can fly up over the northern hemisphere.

Also who doesn’t like Canadians? They are in my opinion the most likable amiable people I have ever known.
