Moscow Mitch has done is Political Calculus. He wants this out off the Senate before March15. Iowa Primary will be done,many state Caucus's will be done,and Super Tuesday will be the biggee. Moscow Mitch knows any delay will certainly cost him his Speakership and that is all he cares about.

Plus he knows he has to get his Rethug Senators back to their Home States before the end of June. Campaign Season has to be funded and a Campaign needs organization in order to be ready to go on Labor Day Weekend.

Mitch McConnell, Linsay Graham..., they were some of the same players back then in Clinton's impeachment trial too. In the '90s, Fox News was new & *ALL* of the media outlets took a hard right trying to keep up with the popularity of their new competitor. There was no DU back then. No liberal forums. No refuge. There was only Fox & Fox-lite. Even Rush Limbaugh had his own TV show. The media went with whatever talking points the GOP fed them. Any media outlet that didn't bash the Clintons 24/7 was considered Liberal media. They crucified Hillary for saying that this was a vast right-wing conspiracy. Looking back, we had no idea how vast it really was. It's a miracle that anyone was able to make out of the '90s without being completely brainwashed into hating the Clintons.

To the litany of terrorist acts that President Clinton laid at the feet of renegade Saudi millionaire Osama bin Laden in justification of his cruise missile attacks on Afghanistan and the Sudan last week, the administration has now alleged a murky plot to assassinate the president as well.

The alleged plot against Clinton was to have taken place when he was to have visited Pakistan. The anonymous intelligence sources that have made such an industry in bin Laden revelations this week acknowledge that the plot never went beyond the coffee-shop talking stage.

Looking back, we baby boomers were prime targets for this mass onslaught of right-winged propaganda. We were raised with news anchors like Walter Cronkite who could deliver the National & International news in 1/2 hr every night at 5pm. There were 3 main networks, no 24/7 news networks. If you wanted more news, you had to buy a newspaper. No pundits w/ talking points to tell you how to think or argue about issues. We grew up completely trusting the news. We thought propaganda was something that only existed in countries like Russia. Coincidentally, Fox News & Putin came into the scene around the same time. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but it feels like the Dominoes have all been stacked against us.
